DKE – German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies

The DKE develops consensus-based standards that foster safety, innovation and trust. Representing Germany in CENELEC, ETSI and the IEC, it unites experts from industry, research, public institutions and civil society. Aligned with the European Green Deal, DKE advances SMART Standards and Digital Product Passports to enable climate neutral technologies, circular value chains and secure, interoperable digital systems. Its Next Generation DKE initiative brings new voices into the standardization community – because standards are not just technical tools but drivers of societal progress.
