ILO Campaign SafeDay 2018
As a special organisation of the United Nations, the ILO (International Labour Organization) based in Geneva was set up to promote social justice as well as human and employment rights. The World Day for Safety and Health at Work and the World Day Against Child Labour are important milestones in achieving these goals. The associated global campaign around these days of action was designed by 3c.
The basic idea: simple but effective images that are able to illustrate a highly complex topic at an international level without any additional descriptions, claims or presentations. In order to clarify and enable people to identify with 'Generation Safe and Healthy' four characters were created, each of which represents a specific age group.
At the outset, 3c managed the development of the logos and key visuals as well as the design of multilingual posters, brochures, leaflets and presentation documents. Both the stylised figures and the colour scheme were highly recognisable and were used as consistent graphic elements in all campaign products.
